CLARITY
RECYCLED WOOL
Mechanically recycled Wool through a low impact process without the use of harmful substances. The fabrics color is achieved by mixing different fibers and shades with no dyes or chemicals. The waste water is treated and recycled back into the industrial system to minimize the environmental impact.
The material is produced within a 10 mile radius from the manufacturing plant to lower the transportation footprint.
CUPRO
Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fibre made from cotton waste, a by-product of cottonseed oil production. Cotton requires a large amount of water so using every bit of the cotton plant helps reduce waste. Since cupro is plant-based it is vegan and cruelty-free.
Production of cupro has undergone a positive transformation in recent years, and the manufacturers now employs a closed-loop system that recovers and reuses the chemical substances used in the manufacturing process.
RECYCLED SYNTHETICS
The main label is made from 100% Recycled post-consumer polyester certified by Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Our care label is made from 100% recycled satin while our zips are made from regenerated nylon made from landfill and ocean waste recycled back to its original purity and quality.
HORN
Real horn buttons made from the by-product of buffalo horn waste product, eco-friendly and compostable. Each button yields its own unique colour and configuration. Raw supplies are sourced ethically from renewable resources. By utilizing resources that would otherwise go to waste we reduce virgin resources and reuse what already exist.
sugar paper
Bagasse is the dry pulpy fibrous waste material that remains after crushing sugarcane stalks used for the manufacture of pulp in the production of sugar cane paper. We use this waste material for our hangtags - this removes the need for paper production by utilizing a resource that would otherwise have been composted.
